Bless Melksham Choir
This Choir is made up of people
from different Churches in Melksham.
This year we decided to have a
"Charity of the Year".
Our Charity for this year has been
Marie Curie.
We have donated any money we have collected from our coffee breaks
when we meet for Choir rehearsals.
In addition to this we were able to have a
"Mad Hatters Summer Supper",
a Musical Quiz and we also collected donations when we sang Christmas carols at Asda.
We were due to have
"An Afternoon of Music"
but because of the Coronavirus, this had to be postponed.
Our Charity for this year is planned to be
Wiltshire Air Ambulance,
but we are governed by when the lockdown is over.
I am so lucky to have Members of the Choir who are so loyal.
May I take this opportunity to thank Stella, Norman, Clare, Caroline, Karen, Alan, Jane, Liz and Pam.
In addition to these Members, may I give a BIG thank you to Bryan and Peter helping me to accompany the Choir.
If you would be interested in joining us, once the lockdown is over,
you would be warmly welcomed at Baptist Church on the first and third Tuesdays of each month - we start at 7pm.
Jeanette Payne
Come along and have some fun singing, all are welcome.
